I Love Headsprout Because It Teaches Me "When your 6-year-old tells you, 'I love Headsprout because it teaches me,' you know you really have a strong program. If we could do all of our primary skills instruction with a program like Headsprout our lives would be easier, with more time for the extracurricular activities that round out our learning, and we would be confident in our learned skills. I Have Recommended This Program Both As Parent And Educator "My child has enjoyed working his way through all of the worlds in Headsprout. He has a learning disability which impacted his progress in reading. Before beginning the program, he was able to read 22 words in 1 minute. Now, he is reading 57 words in 1 minute as tested by the DIBELS or Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills. His confidence in his ability has risen greatly. As a school teacher, I have been amazed at the turn around in his progress. He was excited to do Headsprout and did not have to be told to do it. While doing this program, I have seen tremendous progress in his reading fluency skills.
